[Adam squeaks as he’s gently yeeted from Omori’s head and into the plush pile. He fights to the surface, desperate not to drown in blankets and toys.]

I got them. Sunny uses them.

[The first few weeks that they were here, Omori would leave the treehouse to get food, supplies - things like that. Sunny wouldn't do it himself, and Omori was getting used to stretching new legs. He always used shards to get Sunny as many soft things as he could. He still does, when he's out.]

You should try it sometime. It’s pretty damn cosy.

[Though he is at risk of being consumed into the pile, he can’t deny it’s very soft and squishy!]

[Omori flops into the pile beside Adam, scooping him up again and holding him high up in the air, both arms fully extended.]

I put him to sleep in here.

Not a bad place to sleep.

[It’s probably, like, terrible for back support but Adam’s not at the age where he cares about that yet.]

Might sneak a nap here when you’re not looking.

You can come over whenever you want. [He shifts Adam around in the air a little bit.] It's my house too. [He's recently decided.]

[He sniffs around - as he’s wont to do in this form. He picks up something else, though he’s not good enough at placing a smell to a face quite yet.]

You got a roommate?

[Omori’s expression shifts just slightly into something unpleasant.]

Xie Lian.

Aubrey is here all the time too. And the cat.

[Xie Lian! What a chill, stand-up guy…but he’s not even going to pay attention to that right now.]

There’s a fucking cat here?!

[Omori giggles brightly (brightly for Omori, anyway - it's more than a little creepy, considering).]

He's a cat-boy. Sunny kisses him. [Omori wrinkles up his nose.] Kenma. [He annunciates it slowly, the shape of his mouth a bit exaggerated on the letters - he's being silly!]

[Good on Sunny for getting a boyfriend??]

You scared me, man.

[He relaxes against the pile of softness once more.]

You know, I’m dating a cat-girl too.

[Omori shifts a little in the pile to face Adam.]

A cat and a rat. Who could have guessed that?

[Omori's eyes narrow a little bit, a tiny, wicked smile on his face.]

Who is it?

She’s called Lehna. You met her yet?

[sadpoem]

[Omori now has this information!

[He shakes his head.]

Is she pretty?

[nolube]

Like you wouldn’t imagine.

[Oh he’s SO fond.]

[Omori wrinkles up his nose, but there's a young little smile on his face.]

Ew. You like her.

Yeah, man.

[Omori’s reaction is kind of adorable. Who could believe this is the kid that stabbed him?]

You think that’s gross?

[sadpoem]

[Omori nods.]

Cooties.

[nolube]

[He scoffs a tiny rat scoff, played up.]

She does not have cooties.

[sadpoem]

She does. So do you. [He taps Adam's little rat head twice with his fingers.]

[with an utterly petulant tone.]

[sadpoem]

Does too. Times a million.

[nolube]

[Well there’s no fighting with times a million.]

Better be careful then, you don’t wanna catch ‘em too.

[Omori isn't afraid of Adam cooties. He's just a little rat. He scoops Adam up again and brings them face to face. Then he opens his mouth wide, bringing Adam closer like he's going to stick his entire head into his mouth.]
